Located west of I-35 about 6 miles north of Cameron, Missouri, is the Cameron Long Lines site. It once supported two microwave paths — one northwest to Helena, and another south-southeast to Knoxville. Both paths carried only telephone traffic.
Because Cameron’s self-supported lattice tower — still supporting four KS-15676 horn-reflector antennas — is rather short, it is exempt from FCC Antenna Structure Registration (ASR) requirements. Therefore, the exact height of the tower is unknown. American Tower Corporation owns the site, which also has a white block building as an equipment shelter at the tower base.
