Ever since I was a little kid, I’ve been riding around on two wheels. Before getting my drivers’ license, I cycled my way around town and on the trails.

The bike I “grew up” with is a 1987 Free Spirit Pinnacle road bike, which I received when I was 11 years old. It served as my primary bike until it was temporarily replaced by a Huffy Superia. After the Superia began to (literally) fall apart, the Pinnacle was put back into action.

In fall 2018, the 1987 Pinnacle has been “retired” in favor of a modern, 2016 Giant Sedona “comfort” bike. The Pinnacle is being used as a back-up bike.
