Daniel F., of Atlanta, Georgia, submitted these photos of a vintage Kewanee Type C boiler found in an abandoned building that used to heat a resort hotel and spa in the Cascade Springs Nature Preserve area. Daniel wrote the following:

"As far as background for this boiler's use, it was used to heat a resort hotel and spa that existed on the site in the early 1900's. The area is called Cascade Springs, and there are several active springs in the area. There are remains of a spa building nearby, and pipes running from the boiler to this site. I'll include some of these for your reference. And the water from these springs contained minerals, and bottled water from these springs was sold to the public up until the 1950's."

Daniel: "This shows the foundation of the spa. The horizontal structures here are the concrete supports for the spa. The steam pipes run underneath these."
